Renting a car is effortless when you come to Brooklands. We don’t require a deposit or a security, so there’s no need for a credit card for contract signings. All you need is a valid international driver’s license and your original passport.
Age
Anyone over the age of 21 with a valid driver’s license can rent a car. Our staff will help you finalize the contract on the same day of the vehicle issuance, and if necessary, deliver the car to the airport. Upon arrival, a clean, comfortable car fully ready for use will be waiting for you.
International Driving License
For Russian and CIS citizens
For citizens of Russia and the CIS (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), an international driving license is required to drive vehicles in Dubai and other emirates of the UAE.
- An international driver’s license is a must.
Our managers can assist you in obtaining an international driver’s license, with readiness times ranging from 20 minutes to one day, and the cost of this additional service is 200 AED.
For EU, USA, and Canadian residents
- International licenses are not required.
- Your country’s national driving license will suffice.
For residents of UAE
- You can drive a car using your local driver’s license.
- International licenses are not required.
For UAE resident
If you’re a UAE resident, you’ll need copies of your residency visa, the Emirates ID, and a valid UAE driver’s license to rent a car. If you have residency status, driving with an international license won’t be possible.
